Red Bull snap up unsigned duo

Toro Rosso have allowed parent team Red Bull to sign the two drivers that they were widely predicted to snap up themselves. Chris Louth and Louis Geoghegan have agreed to race Red Bull for the upcoming season, despite having a number of testing sessions with sister team Toro Rosso. Louth joins from constructor champions Force India while Geoghegan has signed a long term deal having raced with the Austrian team for the final part of the season one.

Louth says the decision to leave the team that gave him his first opportunity in the sport was a difficult one, but felt with race fixing allegations hanging over Force India that a move to the former champions was too good to refuse. He also revealed that was a contract offer was on the table from the Indian team.
