In what is relatively home territory, Force India have spoken about their chances for the forthcoming race at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. After picking up 15 points in the season opener in Australia, the team were satisfied although disappointed only to find their driver standing on the 3rd step of the podium. At one stage in the race it looked as though Louth was set for maximum points until controversy struck on lap 29. It has been leaked over the last few days that HRT driver Colin Bannon had purposely crashed his car in an attempt to bring out the safety car, however, what is not yet known is the reason for Bannon to allegedly commit the crime.

Force India driver Louth refused to comment on the story and wanted to look ahead to the race around the physically demanding Kuala Lumpur track. "We've had an extra day to prepare for the race and we feel we're in a good position. Our qualifying pace is definitely up there and our consistency in the race is a challenge for anyone. The target is definitely to win the race, if not, to atleast be on the podium. Anything less will be considered a bad result."
